This convenient store has
all the vegetables you would require which
are available either loose or in packets
of 100gms-250gms and also seasonal fruits
all got fresh everyday from the Gultekdi
market. To save yourself the trouble of going
to the markets which are a little out of
the way especially when you have unexpected
visitors, you can buy the fruits and veggies
of your choice which would cost around Rs.4extra/kg
than the normal market rate.
For those enjoyable crunchy salads, other than iceberg lettuce, they have asparagus,
broccoli, zukini which is like cucumber that is available in 200gm packets
which are rather reasonable. Sprouts are available in packets too. On Mondays
and Wednesdays you can eat sweet carrots got from the soil of Mahableshwar!
Besides the snow peas, red cabbage and hard to find leeks, celery, parsley
and China cabbage which are sold here, the rue cola cabbage available here
is exclusive to this store.
Among the fruits, besides the seasonal ones,
they have avocadoes brought in from Bangalore.
In addition to all these they also have Indian
and imported foodstuff right from cereals
to paneer, curds and cream. Moreover, they
have pastas in 3 varieties and yoghurt in
5 varieties from pineapple and orange to
spring onion and garlic.
Here you can also find herbs in 13-14 varieties from lemongrass, fennel and
paprika to tarragon, oregano and Chinese tea. Items of health food right from
Vitamin C tablets to items like black salt, organic red rice, palm jaggery
